Book reviews in the pipeline

I’ve bought some brilliant books as part of the course I’m studying. I don’t intend to review them in full but will start posting about the sorts of things they made me think about. The books I intend to make comments about (so far) are:

  • Female Chauvinist Pigs: Women and the Rise of Raunch Culture by Ariel Levy
  • Pornified: How Pornography is Damaging Our Lives, Our Relationships and Our Families by Pamela Paul
  • Beauty and Misogyny: Harmful Cultural Practices in the West by Sheila Jeffreys
  • Living Dolls: The Return of Sexism by Natasha Walter
I’d love to hear comments from others on these books or suggestions on others I should read.
